The total area of this state is 88,752 square kilometer. The total population of this state is 9,13,47,736 is the 7.58% of the total Indian population among them 4,69,27,389 are male & 4,44,20,347 are female. The capital of the state is Kolkata.
Climates of the state : October - February(Winter) - 10 - 20 degree c , March - Mid June(Hot) - 27 - 38 degree c, Mid June - September(Monsoon) - 23 - 27 degree c. Main language of this state is Bengali, other language Hindi, English, Nepali etc. Hinduism, Buddhism, Muslim, Sikhs, Jains & Christians are all lived in this state.
